Hello, and welcome to Imagine the Possibilities. I’m Skip Pogue, and I hope you enjoy listening to this podcast as much as I enjoyed creating it. I believe that inside each of us there’s something powerful—something waiting to be unlocked. Physics calls it potential energy: energy that’s stored, not yet in motion. But when I think about our lives, I see it as our hidden talents, our unspoken dreams, our untapped strengths.
Too often we let that potential sit quietly inside us. Maybe it’s because of fear, maybe it’s because we’re comfortable, or maybe we’ve convinced ourselves that the timing isn’t right. I know I’ve done that more than once. But here’s the truth: the only way potential becomes real is when we release it—when we take small steps, ask “Why not?” instead of “Why?”, and move forward with action.
In today’s episode, I want to explore what’s holding us back from activating our potential energy, how baby steps can build momentum, and how my POWER framework can help us stay focused and resilient. I’ll share some of my own stories, the lessons I’ve learned, and a challenge for you to take this week.
